Adam Boys joined the ICMP in 2000 having worked in the former Yugoslavia since 1994.
In 1995, the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office posted him to Montenegro and then to Serbia, first as a border monitor and then as Chief Financial Officer for the mission of the International Conference on the Former Yugoslavia (ICFY).
In 1996, he was appointed as Chief Administration Officer and later Director of the Financial Management Division of the Office of the High Representative in Sarajevo, where he worked until August 2000.
Mr. Boys has an M.A. from Edinburgh University, a Diploma in Financial Strategy from the University of Oxford and is a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
